Checking in and out were both easy processes. The location of the lodge was great for visiting Longleat Safari Park. Although we didn't have much time, the lake looked nice and the surroundings seemed relaxing.

My stay at Magpie 3 was truly relaxing and secluded. The lodge was clean and well-presented, providing a great overall experience. The hot tub was a definite highlight, especially for my grandchildren. Plus, the location was perfect for visiting Longleat and we enjoyed seeing the ducks and geese.
The outside of the property could have been cleaner, which made me initially concerned about the inside. It would have been nice if the decor inside reflected the luxury advertised.

Stayed at a "luxury" lodge without hand soap or enough toilet paper, but at least the hot tub worked and the staff were helpful.
Apparently, cleanliness is not a top priority here. Grubby exterior, dusty four poster bed, and previous guests' clothes in the bathroom.
